I’ve gotten a few texts/emails asking about this Saturdays events. I’ve been talking to the boys about it for a week plus but I’ll do a better job of updating this as well.

The Pancake Breakfast for this Saturday is canceled. We will look for another opportunity to break bread as a whole group another weekend.

The Green vs White Dual is still on as planned. The boys are supposed to be in the wrestling room by 4:30pm to help with setting up the gym.

This is a new event this season and purpose is to help our newer wrestlers get a “low risk” walkthrough on how we conduct ourselves with the pre, during and post match. Building these expectations is crucial moving forward. Approximately 75% of the team is either a new wrestler or a freshmen.

They will be learning how weigh-ins are conducted, how we warm up, how to conduct ourselves on the bench and responsibilities after a home dual.

Matches will begin at 6pm and are open to the public at no charge.

We are excited to see old faces and meet new ones!
