Summer Workout Information

Great news about summer workouts!! The UIL has cleared the way for us to get back into the gym and the weight room beginning June 8. This is phase 1 and comes with very strict protocol regarding health and safety. Birdville ISD has provided us with a plan that involves social distancing, sanitizing, and health screening. Sometime in the next few days we are going to email that information and have a zoom with the kids (which you are all invited to attend).
These workouts are of course not required but very highly encouraged. We have alot of work to do to try to make up for missing out on an entire spring off-season. We are still working on the final details but our plan is to go 3 days a week in which we will spend 60 minutes in the gym working on basketball skills and then 30-60 minutes in the weight room and/or track. The general time frame will be 10:00-12:00. Monday, Wednesday, Friday will most likely be our days but we will let you know for sure once things are finalized.
We understand that every player cannot be at every workout because of vacations or work or whatever. However, please understand the importance of making these workouts a top priority for the summer. It is imperative that we take advantage of this opportunity to improve on our basketball skills, improve on our strength/athleticism, and most importantly be together as a team and a family.
