Updated summer workout info

Lady Hawk Basketball Players & Parents,
We are ready to get started with our summer workouts. Here is what you need to know and we will also be having a zoom meeting for the players tomorrow (Sunday) at 2:00. Of course parents are more than welcome to listen in as well. Please take the time to read all of this!!!
Our schedule is going to be Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and we will begin at 10:00 am. Please arrive by 9:45 and wait outside for a coach to check you in and escort you to gym.
*We will typically be in the gym for one hour of basketball skills and then go to the track or weight room for 30-45 minutes of strength & conditioning. However, we will not start the strength & conditioning part until week 2 or 3.
*The basketball portion of our workouts will be all skills with no contact at all. We must maintain social distancing. Do not bring a ball. We will use our basketballs and they will be sanitized after each group uses them.
*All players must text Coach Johnson 817-437-5889 in order to be put in a group. If you don’t text then you will not be in a group and you will not be able to workout. This is very important because we have to document the groups daily. When you text you need to tell me any days that you know you won’t be there and then as the summer progresses you must text anytime you are going to miss.

 All players and coaches will be required to fill out the google form attached EVERY DAY before they can participate. You can complete this form no sooner than 1 hour before workout begins. This will be linked to your BHS account so know your login info and get these forms completed daily. https://forms.gle/nPHbF8bP4yLGVm4v5
·* You will enter and exit from the student parking lot entrance between the weight room and gym 3.  You must maintain 6 feet of social distance as you are waiting outside.  A coach will check you in before entering the building.
·* We CAN’T provide water so bring your own daily. All water fountains have been turned off in the school so make sure you bring enough water to hydrate properly for the 2 hour workouts. We recommend at least 32oz. You don’t bring water you don’t work out!!
·* You will not have access to locker rooms for any reason. Make sure you come prepared to workout. One restroom will be available for use with a “1 in 1 out” policy.

Each day you will be put into groups of 10 or less and that will be your group for the entire workout. *  After workouts all equipment will be cleaned and sanitized after use daily by the players and coaches.

There will be hand sanitizing stations that you will be required to use on your way in and your way out.
 Now is not the time to fake an illness. If you don’t feel like coming then be honest about it and don’t come. Saying you don’t feel well because you are tired can set off alarms that could shut down our workouts.

 If you feel sick STAY HOME. Communicate this with us so proper procedures can be followed. Do not show up to workout sick. The safety of all players and coaches is our number 1 priority.
