RNA hosted Coaching course

Update on Coaching Dates
Saturday 7th March 2020
RNA have now scheduled the NSG education session on this day to coincide with the practical
demonstrations in the Coach Development for Clubs Course
1.NSG Information / training Education – this will be run by Lil Flanagan (Set
Coordinator)
The Session will run for 1.5hrs 9.30am Start.
All 7-9 coaches are to attend so rules and RNA expectations are understood, and we all work as a team.
2. Coach Development for Clubs – Amanda Kelly (RNA Development Coordinator) will
be running this workshop. The coaching convenor from each club is required to attend and bring 1-2 players for the practical
component
• 9-year-old for 1st session (2 players)
• 12 year for 2nd session (1 player)
Focusing on new coaches (key coaching words, training sessions/game day, session planning, manager’s role, warm up/drill ideas)
• 8.00 – 9.30am -Session 1 – focussing on 7-9 years coaching
• 10 – 11.30am – Session 2 focussing on skills for 10-12 years coaching
