– Preparation and Planning the 2021 Season -
This would have to be the most valuable three hours of Coach Education you will experience. We learn, are challenged and have quite a few laughs.
• Introduction and setting up your season/planning training sessions
• Passing and footwork/skills and drills
• Attack (11 different ways to get free)
• Defence (Front, hedging, zoning, hands over, dictate and deny, holding
up and intercepting)
• Court work – centre passes, side line throw-ins, backline throw-ins
• Systems – Centre court system (bringing the ball through the centre
third)
• Circle defence – defending the shot and blocking for rebounds
• Shooting circle movement and feeding
• Shooting technique – one handed and two handed
