Hi Opti sailors and parents,

We are looking forward to hosting Peter McCann from Victoria this weekend for the first of three planned special optimist training weekends. Welcome to all our members and those visiting from other clubs. The weather forecast looks great at this stage (As good as anything with the word “West” in it can look anyway).

The timetable for the weekend is below:

Saturday 10am – 4pm
Sunday 9am – 2pm (to allow for sailors to attend the RYCT prize giving afternoon)

If you are visiting from another club, we have cleared space for you to store your boat in our optimist storage shed and we are happy to work with you to gain access.

The canteen will be open over the weekend to ensure you can fuel up!

Rigging up will occur at the back of the club and the carpark will be partially fenced off. Please note that the grassed area at the front of the club is currently undertaking a bit of renovation ready for next season and is fenced off from foot traffic.
