ABODA State Marching Semifinals DIV 1 & 3 – Hosted by Desert Vista HS November 2, 2024

We WILL be rehearsing this morning in preparation for the competition. Trailers will be loaded after rehearsal during EPL.

7:00 AM Band room opens for rehearsal prep (prop crew, leadership, etc)
7:30 AM Rehearsal (Schedule will be posted as normal for students)
9:30 AM End Rehearsal, begin EPL (Eat, Pack, Load)

Students will use this time to shine their instruments and load ALL TRUCKS before leaving for Lunch. If we work together we can finish it quickly!! Thank you parents for your help!!*

12:45 PM STRICT CALL TIME- Students must be lined up OUTSIDE PA BUILDING

1:30PM Students Continue Show Day Prep- Change, Shine Instruments, etc
2:20 PM CALL TIME/Final Check- Students must be in “FULL UNIFORM” sitting in auditorium!
2:30 PM Load Buses
2:50 PM Depart for Desert Vista High School
3:50 PM Arrive, unload buses/trucks/bathrooms
4:40 PM Stretch and Traditions
5:00 PM Silent Visual Warm Up
5:40 PM Music Warm Up (Warm Up C)
6:10 PM Music Ensemble Check
6:33 PM Transition to Gate/Staging
6:45 PM Ready Line
7:00 PM Sandra Day O’Connor Performs
9:00 PM AWARDS

–STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO BUY CONCESSIONS AND WATCH BANDS AFTER LOADING TRAILERS POST PERFORMANCE– STUDENTS MUST BE WEARING THEIR FULL TRACKSUIT AND BLACK SHOW SHIRT POST PERFORMANCE –

9:30 PM Return to buses, load up and prepare to depart
9:45 PM Depart for Sandra Day O’Connor High School
10:45 PM Arrive, Unload trailers/buses, put away instruments/uniforms, CLEAN UP
11:30 PM Dismissal
