The Coach Education Unit conducted the “Batticaloa District School and Academy Coaches Knowledge Brush-Up Programme” at the Batticaloa District Cricket Association (DCA) Office. This programme, designed for aspiring young coaches, provided a comprehensive refresher on key cricket coaching techniques and best practices. The Level 0 course was expertly taught by coach educator K. Karthi, whose experience and insights were invaluable in enhancing the knowledge of these emerging coaches.

Through a combination of theoretical discussions and practical sessions, participants were equipped with the essential skills required to develop and mentor the next generation of cricketers in the Batticaloa District. The programme emphasized the importance of grassroots development, encouraging these young coaches to play a pivotal role in nurturing future talent.
