The Coach Education Unit hosted a comprehensive review meeting and education program for district coaches in the Southern Province. Led by an experienced Coach Educator, the session focused on introducing new teaching methods such as player-centered coaching, flipped classroom techniques, collaborative learning, and the Constraint-Led Approach. These innovative strategies aim to enhance player development by adapting to different learning styles and promoting active engagement.
The program also included discussions on setting clear coaching goals and improving orientation, addressing the unique challenges of coaching the current generation of players. Additionally, district coaches presented their reviews of the recent U15 tournament, sharing insights and experiences. The Provincial Coach provided feedback on their performance, highlighting areas for improvement and offering guidance for future development.
This session aimed to update coaching techniques and foster a collaborative environment, helping coaches refine their strategies to better support young cricketers in the Southern Province.
