The North Central Province (NCP) Coach Education Unit successfully conducted a comprehensive Coach Education Program for school and academy coaches in the Puttalam District. Hosted at St. Sebastian’s College, Katuneriya, the program was expertly led by Coach Educators Chaminda Thotagamuwa and Sanjae Rajapakshe.

This initiative aimed to equip coaches with advanced methodologies and practical strategies to foster player development and enhance team performance. The program covered critical areas such as session planning, skill analysis, and effective communication techniques, ensuring participants gained valuable insights into modern coaching practices.

Through interactive discussions and on-field demonstrations, the educators emphasized the importance of creating a positive learning environment and adopting a player-centric coaching approach. The session was a resounding success, contributing to the continuous professional development of coaches in the region and raising the standard of cricket coaching in Puttalam.
