A coach education program was recently held in Polonnaruwa for school and academy coaches, focusing on the distinctions between batting technical and tactical aspects, as well as the dynamics of player-coach relationships. The session was conducted by the Coach Education Unit and led by experienced educators Chaminda Thotagamuwa and Sanjae Rajapakshe.
Twenty-five coaches participated, engaging in both theoretical discussions and practical demonstrations. The program aimed to enhance coaching methodologies by clarifying the nuances between technical skills and tactical decision-making in batting, while also emphasizing effective communication and relationship-building between coaches and players.
