The Coach Education Unit conducted the Skin Fold & Pocket Radar Workshop for Major Clubs and Super Provinces. A total of 17 clubs received pocket radars, with 15 clubs attending the session, along with representatives from all four Super Provinces. The workshop featured Gayan Weeratne, who led the Skin Fold assessment, and Chamila Gamage, who conducted the Pocket Radar training.
This initiative, held under the guidance of the Coach Education, aimed to enhance player assessment methods and improve performance monitoring. The program provided valuable insights into modern fitness evaluation and speed measurement techniques, ensuring clubs and provincial teams adopt best practices for player development.
