SBA introduced SIN BIN

27 Feb by Mel White

Sin Bin is enforced by the referees on the game. They will advise the coach or in seniors the player if Sin Bin is applied and the player is required to be subbed out of the game and advise the time in which they may return. (reasonable rounding of numbers is expected)

If the Sin Bin rule is enacted the player must leave the court immediately and return to the player's bench, they may not return to the game for 5 minutes of playing time. A substitution if available may replace the player on court for this time.

At the completion of 5 minutes the player may be substituted back into the game at the next appropriate opportunity.
