Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help. We still require help in some important areas. Please see below:
We are excited to be holding our 50th annual Bunbury Open Carnival on Sunday 20 October 2024 in our own pool at the South West Sports Centre.
It is a fun friendly meet and the perfect opportunity to get some official long course times. We would love to see all our awesome BSC swimmers there from new members and first-timers to our performance swimmers.
It is also our club’s major fundraiser for the year- allowing us to keep fees down. For this reason “it’s all hands on deck”. Attached is current Volunteer List.
What do you need to do?

2 people to cook and sell sausage sizzles, breaky burgers and drinks on the day.
ANNOUNCER
1 x person to work with our experienced Announcers.
Learn and have fun with this official role on the day- read out infractions, advertise sponsors. And only if you want to; call the races! It’s fun! You will be working with an experienced announcer who will show you the ropes.
PHOTOGRAPHER
1 x helper required
Record all the action on the day (morning only). This person will help with timekeeping in the afternoon.
CATERING
3 people to please kindly provide 1 item only from the list below:
1 x slice
24 x cookies
1 x potato OR pasta salad
Please cut slices into individual portions. Bring to the catering area to the rear of lane 0 on the day.

RAFFLE PRIZES- Kim our Coordinator has arranged the following times for people to drop off raffle donations. There will be a basket at the coaches end of the pool between 3:45-5:30pm on the dates below:
Mon 7th Oct
Thurs 10th
Mon 14th,
Wed 16th,
Thurs 17th.
In the past with the generosity of our club members, we have created some wonderful prize hampers. Some ideas for gifts are: Kiddies Stuff, BBQ items, Car Cleaning, Gourmet Foods (non-perishable), Swimming Gear, Luxury Body Care, Dad’s & Mum’s Drinks, Tools, Garden Care , baskets, Gift vouchers
Please donate new items in original packaging and not used items.
If you KNOW OF ANY BUSINESSES who may be happy to support our club please approach them on behalf of our club and ask to donate prizes for our raffle.

You must have renewed your 2024_2025 membership and you need to set the NEW SEASON 2024_2025 membership for EACH CHILD as the PRIMARY membership.
