We’re inviting all coaches across North Riding to contribute to the Off Your Chest National Survey 2023/24.

Coaches have more than just the power to change the game, right? So how can we utilise the power of football to support youth mental health and wellbeing in your communities?

I’m Alex Caird, the winner of the Outstanding Youth Leader Award 2023 for my work undertaken in my county of Somerset for my “Off Your Chest” project supported by the FA Leadership Academy in 2022/23. But above all else, I’m a grassroots football coach. Now with the help of the amazing coaching workforce across North Riding, we’re now aiming to build up a larger sample to further elevate and improve coach education resources as well as keep mental health in football at the top of every agenda. I am looking for less than 5 minutes of your time to share your thoughts and be part of a national picture of the state of support offered to new and experienced coaches (especially in grassroots).
